Farmer's Market -- 25 April 2020 (Lily of the Valley Day, 7th of Flowering, Year 228)

A hydroponic basil plant (now in a tall glass on the windowsill with water), a very lumpy tomato, a pint of yellow cherry tomatoes, 0.68 lbs of Mozzarella, a pint of mixed berry yogurt smoothie, a dozen eggs, a small chicken (under 3 lbs), Taste of India handpies, Pulled Pork with sharp cheddar handpies, Spinach Feta handpies, buttermilk cake with caramel frosting, carrot cake, and a stack of salty goodness chocolate chip cookies.

I guess I'll be making baguettes this afternoon so I can make capreses sandwiches tomorrow. And roasting a chicken tomorrow; I'll have chicken and dumplings this week, if I have frozen peas in the freezer, or actually go to a grocery store for the first time in a month (literally -- I last went to an actual grocery on March 23).
